The People

Chesworth Arts Farm is not an institution, all of its management structures are deliberately kept as light as possible, to put the initiative in the hands of its users. If there is a will to do some particular arts related activity, then it is more likely to be able to happen here than most other places. The core team will respond well to good ideas from its users, as they are users too.

who are the users?
This depends entirely on your perspective, someone that runs a major funded program is a user, as are those that join a drop-in taster workshop, or someone that uses a corner of the grounds to make topiary, or the core team themselves. Obviously there are different degrees of involvement here, but those roles are interchangeable. The success of Chesworth as an organisation depends on both active and passive members, stepping up when the time is right, it also depends on a strong complex network of many members. So this is where you come in, make contact, observe, participate or better still, initiate.

We have ambitions to become an invaluable resource across the region. We want to provide extraordinary, interesting and unusual approaches to engaging with creativity for everyone, as well as providing professional artists with needed resources. We want to keep our standards high with your help.
