The Building & its Resources
Chesworth Arts Farm is a small, renovated ancient barn with some land and a paddock set in a farmland conservation park. The building has a very interesting atmosphere that inspires potential. Its thoroughly accessible rural surroundings provide a quiet meditative backdrop as well as scope for discovery or diversionary escape.
The building itself is minimally decorated and furnished, allowing almost any activity to be carried out without worrying about spoiling the floor. Each space at Chesworth Arts Farm has a very different atmosphere.
The scope of Chesworth Arts Farm
The building consists of several separate areas:
- A farmhouse kitchen. with log burning stove and solar heated water, well equipped and cosy, it is large enough for small seminars or meetings, etc.
- Two workshop rooms. Each have natural light, hard floors and bare walls, one has a high open roof-space.
- A large, partially covered, walled yard.. It is lockable, has a concrete floor and double access doors to the outside. There is power and lighting.
- An area of level concrete standing (accessible to the public)
- A small paddock
- Several outside areas.
- Designated parking. for 6 vehicles plus additional visitor parking
