I would like to thank everyone that came to Chesworth on saturday for making the gathering so enjoyable, and for making me feel inspired with new energy. You gave me loads of new possibilities for our rather odd experiment, and at last it feels as though the ball is begining to roll.

It looks as though emphasising the more 'workshop' based activities, as a way of getting the place warmed up for more intriguing projects, really is going to work, combine that with a very broad view of where creativity meets activity and the idea of workshops becomes very inventive, I can't wait to see where it will lead - creative boatbuilding? botanical performance, sustainable poetry? who knows.
A few people asked about finance, and it struck me that we never quite managed to say where we stand, so to set the record straight, we run the place just to cover costs and keep it running, we don't take any money from the organisation, nor will we - in fact we pay to keep it going.

I hope that more people will get around to joining this network, because if it becomes a bit more active it would be a good place to have a natter about what we all like doing best.
